This is now the 27th image in the Calendar series. Chat GPT and I collaborated to the point where Chat GPT recalled the concept of a 'Calendar series' and representational Americana. Our system of first me finding local descriptions for each of the regions in each month (here SE July), then asking Chat GPT to write a vivid visual narrative of a 'scene' or 'setting', left me to develop the characters, or in this case, imagined event, of a 'bike race in the Blue Ridge', then ask Chat GPT for the image. This is collaborative art, the way a composer writes notation for the conductor and the orchestra.
