'Americana' Calendar Series - [Start at post #01 to understand the narrative for this series]

"Yesterday, the pony broke the picket line and bolted into the evening sun, her hooves kicking up clouds of red dust. We watched her silhouette grow smaller against the mesa, hearts sinking as the coyotes began their eerie chorus. But just as the last light faded, she came galloping back, nostrils flaring and eyes wide, eager for the safety of the corral and the comfort of her hay." This is a Chat GPT rendition, of a local journal note from the Old West, that we made more evocative together. 


This is the 24th image in the Calendar series. It became clear that the best approach was to search on Google for a local description of the SouthWest region, (in June), then copy and paste that into Chat GPT, and ask it to write a 'vividly visual narrative for an illustration'. (For greater drama, that we'll show later, you would ask Chat GPT to 'write an epic poem'.) With the vivid narrative as 'scene' or 'setting', my task was to develop the characters and frame them in the scene. Then the magic starts!
